Cadbury’s white Creme Egg hunt is back – and this time you can win £10,000

Nearly 800 of the white chocolate treats will be hidden in regular wrappers – this is where to look

The promotion began on New Year’s Day and will run until midnight on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019.

Prizes range from £50 to £10,000.

Only a few dozen will be available to find each week but the hunt should be easier this year as there were only 371 hidden eggs in 2018.

The eggs will be lurking among the regular versions at Asda, Morrisons, Tesco, Co-op, Sainsbury’s, M&S, One Stop and some independent retailers.

A single egg costs around 58p, while a five-pack costs is around £2.85.

How to claim

If you find one of the white chocolate eggs, then call the phone number (office hours) printed on the voucher under the foil to find out and claim your prize.

A unique code and the prize are printed on the voucher.

Keep the voucher and the packaging so Cadbury’s can validate your claim.

When you phone you will be asked to answer a series of verification questions including the unique code on the wrapper, the retailer it was purchased from and the location of purchase.

If entrants are unable to pass the verification checks, it will be to the discretion of the promoter as to whether a prize is issued.

All claims must be made by 5pm on 21st May 2019.

Prizes will be paid as a cheque or by bank transfer to the verified winner.

All winners will also receive payment of an extra 60p enabling them to treat themselves to a standard Cadbury Creme Egg.

If a white chocolate egg is found by someone under the age of 16, the prize must be claimed by their parent or legal guardian.
