IDT Support Solutions Ltd, based in Newton-Le-Willows, provide tech software and hardware for companies such as Disney and received an Investors in People award last month.

“The dedication and commitment to achieve this recognition is not simply a status driven process, but one that encompasses the values of the company, who have worked hard to receive this award but more importantly continue supporting the community too, by offering work apprenticeship for the local St Helens Chamber of commerce.
“IDT have also recently taken on a couple of young work experience staff on a fast track apprenticeship scheme, so that they both can have an improved chance in career development and work opportunities.”
The development and growth of the team is fully supported by Colin Hepplestone IDT founder and Managing Director who said “The time and investment spent developing the infrastructure and core procedures is reflected in the positive attitude of the people that work for IDT.

Ream explains why the company is focussing on their go local approach “We work closely with our clients no matter the size of the business. however, we do receive great satisfaction working with local companies, especially in the northwest, as we know we are providing them with the very best technologies and services which we offer the larger organisations who have millions to spend and ensure we tailor this to suit the requirements of the SME’s which are in fact more vulnerable to security compromises and attacks as they normally do not protect themselves as well as they should.”
IDT Support Solutions also have a resident Saluki, Alfie who is the star of the team, he keeps everyone in check by ensuring he is fed, has his daily walk and in a happy mood, he also pops out on client visits as shown in the image below. “Alfie is a great addition to the team and is therapeutic to have around everyone, especially as he is very calm and chilled out which I believe is the nature of a saluki, and it fits in well with our wellbeing ethos” advises Ream.
