A bright and sunny Sunday led to personal bests for many Striders racing at the weekend. A great turnout at 2 local events, firstly the Spring10k in Liverpool saw 28 Striders taking part. Eric Ranson was first male to cross the line in 40:13 whilst Kylie Maguire led the ladies in a time of 44:38. A special mention to Pete Mendlicott who got a pb in 45:23 as well as Jon Jo Doherty who took part in the 5k and came first in an amazing time of 16:45.
Wigan trail 10k saw 12 Striders complete with Kev Brennan first in 39:25, David Navis 43:59, Stuart Tagg pb’d in a great time of 44:25, Kevin Cairns in 46:41, Sean Ahearn 49:08, Gemma Webster was first female in 54:17, Richard Worsley 57:23, Karen Mason 1:03:54, Victoria Kehoe 1:07:50 PB , Karen Young 1:08:08, Anthony Young 1:08:12, Gillian Kelly 1:26:55
