Face 2 Face is celebrating its 12th Birthday on the 15th May with a craft party at the Glass Horse where you could win a £50 voucher.
Joanne Partington who runs Face 2 Face told us more about her business journey “I used to work for Cosmos hoildays as a children’s rep(2000 to 2002 ) then moved on to celebrity cruise, working as in children’s entertainment in the Caribbean from 2002 to 2004. These were the best years of my life after finishing Art college.”
“I set up my company Face2Face in May 2005 as people were asking for kids parties. I am still friends with the parents of my 1st ever 5th b.day party I did… I then started doing shopping centres on fundays and Halloween etc.”
“I have always worked with children even worked in a nursey before my travels, I find children so interesting and inspiring and always telling my two boys (age 4 and 11) you can be what ever you want to be when you get older… enjoy life and when you love what you do like me.. the money will follow.”
“At a childrens party I offer professional Face painting balloon modelling games for all ages and glitter tattoos along. I also do christenings and weddings at the weekends.”
“In the week I offer a casting service for new born babies, couples hand claps, family casts all holding hands and every monday at the Glass Horse I run an Art club 4-7pm offering Face painting, food and drink along with different crafts each week.”
“My weeks are busy but just how I like them… every Friday I also run a baby massage class for Giggletotz for newborn babies.”
“I love that I have such a variety of work.. 1 week it could be baby showers and weddings, the following week could be kids parties and christenings.”
“This year am starting with Neon /UV parties for children 7+ .. I decided on this as I am with families up to about 5/6… so completely updated the package and this will be starting in June 2017.”
“My choosen charity is st.helens Foodbank each year.. and am also up for an award for best independent children’s party entertainment… closing date 3rd July.”
