St Augustine’s Awards Success

Congratulations to St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic High School’s ‘Digital Champions’, who were among the winners in the O2 Young People Awards.

Deputy Headteacher, Mr Paul Bennett, nominated the five Year 11 students in two categories: ‘Digital Champions’ and ‘Community Champions’ as they are a hardworking and dedicated group of students who continually go above and beyond what you would normally expect of any student.

As well as being Digital Champions in the school community, they have and do contribute towards student voice, learning and teaching across the school, student council events – and they are members of the staff/student learning, e-safety and ICT group in school, proving themselves to be vital members of our community.

Students Callum Cunliffe, Amy McManus, Hannah Maudsley, Daniel Crane and MacKenzie France attended the presentation event at Preston Brook Call Centre in Runcorn with Mr Bennett and Assistant Head Teacher, Sheena Smith, and represented their school brilliantly.
