Everybody knows that the best part of any meal is the dessert, and now St Helens is getting its own dessert restaurant where sweet treats are the only thing on the menu.
Kaspa’s Desserts is set to open on Bridge Street in the unit previously occupied by the British Heart Foundation’s furniture shop.
The company, which opened its first dessert house in London in 2010, describes itself as “a chain of exciting new dessert houses that offer the world’s favourite hot and cold desserts under one roof. Their menu boasts a mouthwatering selection of ice creams, gelatos, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, smoothies and sundaes.
There’s loads for the kids, but it’ll keep mum and dad happy too. That is, after all one of the appeals of Kaspa’s – it’s a family-friendly joint.
Their products are non genetically-modified, suitable for vegetarians, handmade and imported from the heart of Italy, with no artificial preservatives.
We spoke with Gary Maddock the Town Centre Manager who said “It’s great news that another new brand is opening here in the town centre. To see new businesses choosing St Helens as their destination of choice, is encouraging and testimony to the opportunities and prospects the town centre offers.”
