Haydock-based construction company Robertson North West has secured a £9m contract to build a new Hunters Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Chester.
Robertson has started onsite at the new facility on Sealand Road, which will be approximately 64,583 sq ft in size.
The dealership, which will stand on the site of the existing facility, will contain office space, showrooms, workshops and parking roof deck.
Darren Sterling, operations director at Robertson North West, said: “This is a stylish and exciting project to have been selected to deliver.
“Our experience with similar construction projects will enable us to deliver the structure to the highest standard and we are looking forward to starting work.”
The Hunters contract is the latest in a string of recent car showroom projects for Robertson, bringing the value of dealership schemes delivered in recent years to £50m.
The project is being overseen by chartered quantity surveyor and construction cost consultant Lumsdon Wood Partnership. The project is expected to take 54 weeks to complete.
