SUMMER STREETS
St Helens is also set to stage its annual Summer Streets – an occasion of outdoor performances set against a carnival atmosphere on Saturday 12th August. Expect a line-up of top artists and attractions from the world of comedy, music, acrobatics, dance, magic and theatre. All the action will take place on the streets in the town centre and all the performances are free! 11Am rto 4pm.

ST HELENS OPEN ART EXHIBITION
Returning to The World Of Glass for the sixth year since 2012, this year’s exhibition is set to be bigger and better than ever. The Open Art competition aims to encourage and support local artists of all abilities, as well as promoting excellence, talent and creativity within the borough. The end result and is a showcase of artworks of all mediums from fine art, photography, video, sculpture and much more! This exhibition is not to be missed.

SONGS FROM THE MUSICALS

Willowbrook Hospice will be opening its award winning gardens to the public as part of the National Gardens Scheme’s (NGS) 90th birthday celebrations. 11am-4pm. £3 for adults and free for children with profits going towards the NGS fund for nursing and caring charities.
