The North West Charity Awards are a great opportunity to let the North West know how great your charity and team truly is. So I’m delighted to receive news that the Borough will be well represented at the Awards ceremony in October.
George Mathias for the Run With George campaign – Young Charity Ambassador of the Year category.
This is for a young person 16 years and younger who have supported, raised funds and awareness for a charity or cause.
Dorothy Hughes – Volunteer Of The Year category
This is for a volunteer who consistently displays a commitment to a charity or community group. Give their own time to serve a charity or community without receiving monetary reward for this service.
Newton Community Centre – Small Charity, Big Impact category
This is for a charity with an income of less than £400,000 a year that has made a significant impact. Meeting or exceeding its targets and community reach.
SAMS Armed Forces Hub – Outstanding Charity Support category
Awarded to an exceptional company that has gone above and beyond to raise funds and awareness for a charity..
I was also delighted to hear from George Mathias’ dad Richard, that he heard about these awards from an article St Helens Unlimtied wrote a few months ago 🙂
They will find out if they are winners at the awards ceremony taking place on 11th October at The Midland Hotel in Manchester.
