On Tuesday, 5th September at Haydock Conservative Club, Bellorophon Way, Haydock, St Helens.WA11 0GT, between 7:30 and 9:30 PM, Haydock Male Voice Choir will present a free concert to attract men to join the choir.
They will attain their centenary in March 2023, and would like to reach this milestone by recruiting new “younger” members.
The choir have a new dynamic conductor, Dan Craddock and two magnificent accompanists, Ruth Webb and Rachel Fright – Pianist, both with post graduate qualifications from the Royal College of Music.
They will sing a few pieces and then invite prospective members to join with them, sitting next to an experienced chorister to help them, and continue the concert.
Dan will illustrate how the choir works with each one of four parts singing their part of the harmony and the men will join the part they feel most comfortable with. It should be a really fun evening.
Singing is renowned for promoting the “feel-good” factor, good health, camaraderie and teamwork, with a good sense of achievement.
They will give you a really good welcome and look forward to meeting new members.
