Pop band Scarlet are off their first UK Tour!
We caught up with lead singer Jessie Robinson to find out more, she said “We’re all really excited to be doing our first headline UK tour through September and October and we’ve already been asked to go on tour with 80s legends T’pau (china in your hand) in November so we’re going to be busy the next few months which I’m really looking forward to”
“I’m excited to see which city has the best music scene and crowds. Really looking forward to going to Edinburgh newcastle Glasgow and Sunderland as we’ve heard great things about the music scene up there”
“The best thing about touring for me personally is meeting all the bands we’re playing with and all the promoters and music people in different towns. It gives you a real boost and fuels my enthusiasm for music”
The four-piece released their first album ‘Effigy’ last year after crowdfunding more than £6,000 to fund it. 2016 was a great year for the band, from playing in front of tens of thousands of people at the Tbilisi Open Air Festival in Georgia (The Country’s equivalent to our Glastonbury), to securing a licensing deal in Japan and being added to several festival line-ups for 2017.
