Anne Farrell and her friend Margaret Roberts are running a small crochet group for 6 weeks, commencing Thursday, 14th September.
Anne told us more “My friend Margaret is a very talented lady when it comes to all things craft like.”
“A few months ago we were out for a walk and we were chatting about how some of the old crafts are dying out with hardly anyone to pass them on. I knew she was a fantastic crocheter and I suggested that maybe she should teach.”
“So we decided to involve a few friends to teach over the summer at Haresfinch Rugby and community club when it was closed during the day. The staff there agreed that we could use one of the lounges to hold our little group for a small room rental fee.”
“These sessions went very well and we have now decided to open up to more people who would like to learn to crochet, for six weeks. We hope a few more people will join us as it’s a way of meeting new friends and getting out, as well a learning a lovely new craft.”
The course commences on Thursday 14th September through to Thursday 19th October 2017.
Each class takes place from 4pm to 6pm at Haresfinch Rugby and Community Club, Haresfinch Road, WA11 9NS.
£30 for the 6 week course.
