Every Friday morning the Go Active team host walks around the local area. Last Friday they completed a 6-Mile Trail Walk around the Hills Of Billinge Leading Up The Beacon.
The next walk will take place on Friday 22nd September, as follows
Crank Caverns trail walk, meeting at Toby Carvery (waterside), Carr Mill, WA11-7LX
5-mile slightly strenuous green belt trail walk around crank caverns.
Andy Brown, walk leader said “Proud of this lot today, climbed Shally Brow & were strong on the ups & downs throughout the trek. Good training in progress for the Snowdon trip at the end of month”
All of the walks get you to and through places you wouldn’t think existed, beautiful views, fantastic wildlife & all this is on your doorstep. Great weekly session to get active as well as meeting new people on the same path as you. All abilities welcome. Walks take place on Fridays from 8.30am to 10.30am
