It Is What It Is Productions are bringing Jim Cartwright’s award-winning play, “Two” to West Park Rugby Club.
Two examines everyday life in a typical post–industrial northern town, this gritty and hard-hitting play takes its audience through a range of human emotions creating a colourful tapestry of life in a working-class town. Set in a bustling pub owned by a bickering Landlord and Landlady, two actors will take on the task of portraying 14 characters as they spend a typical evening in their local boozer.
Performers Sophie Tickle, Daniel Woods and Director Carmel Baines have spent the last four years touring the UK in theatre, prisons and rehab facilities with the hard-hitting play Mum, Can You Lend Me Twenty Quid? And just last year celebrated its 100th show with a special celebratory performance at the Palace of Westminster.
As It Is What Is Productions they endeavour to take engaging and stimulating theatre to their audiences by performing in site specific locations. As such they’ll be performing in the perfect setting of West Park Rugby Club.
This fast-paced performance of Cartwright’s award-winning script will astound you, make you laugh and you might even shed a tear as each character gives you a fleeting glimpse in to their everyday lives.
Audience members will also receive hotpot supper to enjoy during the interval. Tickets are priced at £10 (excl booking fees) and can be purchased via https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/two-tickets-36953738627
