Experience a mixture of colour, music and dancing in St Helens this weekend when a number of groups descend on the town centre.
Hosted by St Helens-based Morris dancing side, Mucky Mountains Morris, the Day of Dance event will see six groups perform traditional dances from the Cotswolds, Welsh borders, and the Appalachians.
Along with the Mucky Mountains Morris group, confirmed acts include Newburgh Morris from West Lancashire; Black Sheep Morris from County Durham; International border Morris side, Ragged Robin; Yorkshire Coast Morris from Scarborough and Bolton-based group, Leap to your Feet.
All the fun takes place in Church Square and outside the World of Glass Museum this Saturday (30 September) from 10:30am to 4:00pm.
For comprehensive event listings please see the event section of our website. In addition we publish an event guide every month and also a Weekend Guide every Friday around lunchtime.
