This is a great opportunity for local musicians, choirs, vocal groups and more. Plus you can raise valuable funds for a Charity.
Christmas is coming! Open Culture and Liverpool ONE are looking for performers to celebrate the season from 10 Nov – 24 Dec and make festive shopping even more magical this year.
They’re on the lookout for performers both professional and amateur, performing all types of Christmas music – they’re especially keen to hear from school and community choirs, bands and vocal groups so if you’d like to be involved, please get in touch.
There are four performance locations scattered across the area:
Custom House Place, facing the Sugar House Steps
South John Street
Keys Court
Paradise Street
Please note that while these are also performance locations for the Tickle the Ivories piano busking festival, the pianos will not be available for use for this event.
Each act or performer will need to perform for a minimum of 30min; you can also book 2 x 30min slots if you’d prefer.
Who can perform?
Bands, community groups, choirs, musical theatre groups and school choirs or music groups are all invited to take part.
Please note that if you are a school group, it is preferred for you to perform in an afternoon slot.
All performers are licensed to busk and keep all the proceeds they make. You may also collect money for your chosen registered charity if you’d prefer.
How to Apply
Before applying, please read the full performer information here.
To request a time slot, complete the short online form and tell us a little bit about you, your act, and your preferred performance dates and times.
