Celebrations are in order at Stocks Hall Care Home in Dentons Green, after they received the great news that staff at the Home have been shortlisted in the prestigious Great British Care Awards North West finals.
Nominees Laraine Prescott, Lucy Peters and Laura Coghlan-Adam have together been shortlisted for the ‘Activity Organiser’ Award.
The Great North West Care Awards are part of the Great British Care Awards, a series of 9 regional awards celebrating excellence across the Care Sector. The purpose of the awards is to promote best practice within both Care Homes and Home Care and pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
Manager, Julie Gaskell says “I am extremely pleased for Laraine, Lucy and Laura. Their enthusiasm and zest for ensuring everyone experiences ‘Life to the full’ is heart-warming.”
This success has culminated in the region wide finals to be held at a Gala event in Manchester on Friday 3rd November 2017. Successful finalists will progress to the National Great British Care Awards Finals, which will take place in London.
Julie concludes “These ladies thoroughly deserve their award nominations for all the hard work and dedication they put into their role day in and day out. We are so proud that this has been recognised by the Great British Care Awards, it certainly represents the standards of Care which they and all the staff provide here.”
