Grange Valley Primary School in Haydock has received an award from The British Council. The award recognies the work being done at the school, in giving young people a window into different cultures and countries, helping them develop as responsible global citizens and preparing them for life and work in a global society.
Mrs Holcroft, Headteacher at the School said “We gained the award for all the work we have done to bring an international dimension to teaching and learning.”We believe that International education enriches teaching and learning.”

“We enjoy activities such as: School links and pen pals in Spain and Italy, around the world week, learning about different religions and cultures and cooking lots of delicious foods from around the globe.”
