Want To Get PAID To Travel UK And Europe? National Rail’s Hiring New ‘Chief Adventure Officer’

If you’re eligible for a 16-25 Railcard, National Rail’s offering you the chance to get paid £10,000 to travel by train, in what’s been dubbed “Britain’s ultimate part-time job”.

The competition will see the winner appointed National Rail’s ‘chief adventure officer’. Along with a friend, he or she will be sent to video six trips using a 16-25 Railcard, plus another interrail trip in Europe.

The seven locations the winner will be sent to will be picked by the public throughout the year, and could include anything from going on the longest zip wire in Snowdonia to a graffiti tour in Bristol.

Jyoti Bird, Director at National Rail, said: “We are offering someone the opportunity to inspire others to explore more of Britain, in a fun and exciting way.

“Our new Chief Adventure Officer needs to be someone who lives to discover new places, and has a desire to share their experiences with others. They need to be adventurous, passionate about travel and good at creating content so they can bring their journeys to life for others.”

How To Enter

You need to be aged between 16 and 25, a mature full-time student, or currently have a 16-25 Railcard.
