£10,000 Available To Raise Awareness Of UK Space Programme And How It Impacts On Everyday Life – Deadline 11th February 2018

The UK Space Agency is making up to £40,000 available under its “Space for All” community funding scheme.

This scheme offers small grants to support the education and outreach activities to raise awareness among the general public of the UK’s space programme and the role that space plays in everyday life. Funding of up to £10,000 is available to UK based academic or research institutions that can help to explain the importance of space.

Projects may include:

  • Delivery of curriculum enrichment activities
  • Delivery of activities to promote careers in the space sector
  • Delivery of activities to engage the public
  • Preparation of plans for long term projects.

Preference will be given to projects that will reach an audience previously unaware of the UK’s space programme.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on the 9th February 2018.
