Call For Performers: Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool Marathon 2018

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool Marathon is back on Sunday 20th May 2018 and once again Open Culture are working with the marathon team to find incredible local acts to volunteer their time and talent and perform along the route.

With performance opportunities at every mile of the course the marathon is a great chance for you to have your music heard by not only the tens of thousands of runners that take part but also their families, friends and the crowds of spectators that line the route to cheer them on! Over 20,000 runners took part in 2017 and this year is set to be even bigger.

They’re looking for a mix of bands and performers to wow the runners and keep them motivated – whether you’re a singer-songwriter, rock and roll band, drumming group, choir, dance troupe, ukulele band or even something completely different, they want to hear from you.

Either way they’re looking for performers who play upbeat music that people might know – maybe even something to get the runners singing and dancing along for a minute or two before they head off!

There is also the opportunity to play along the route of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool 5k on Saturday 19th May. Please let them know on your application form if you would be able to volunteer your time on this date.

All stages are supported by a quality PA and stage manager / technician.
