It was a quiet week for the Striders due to the postponement of the St Helens 10k. However some members did still manage to race despite the adverse weather.
Pete Medlicott was joined by his wife and Strider-in-waiting, Allison, for the inaugural ‘Big Half’ marathon in London, finishing in 1:45:28.
Adam Pointon took on the same distance at the Anglesey Half Marathon, finishing in 1:44:27.
Chris Reid and Les Abbott travelled to Bolton for the Trotters 5 Mile Trail Race, hosted by Burnden Road Runners, Chris coming home in 37:37 and Les in 40:51.
