The finalists for the 2018 UK Roofing Awards were announced at the Ecobuild trade show last week.
Longworth Building Services based in Haydock were revealed as one of the finalists in this year’s Awards
Beautiful structures, outstanding workmanship, superior problem solving, environmental qualities and contribution to the built environment have all been highlighted in the shortlist, released by National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC).
The awards, which are in their twelfth consecutive year, celebrate the very best in the industry across 14 categories.
The UK Roofing Awards have become an industry-wide event that recognise and reward outstanding standards of workmanship and safety within the roofing industry.
Longworth are finalists in four categories
Fully Supported Metal
- The Bund
- NHS Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary
Sheeting and Cladding / Rainscreen
- Liverpool Life Sciences
Large Scale Project (over £250k)
- NHS Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary
Small Scale Project (under £25k)
- Richmond Road
James Talman, Chief Executive at NFRC, who are hosting the awards, said: “This year the standard of entries was exceptional and the judges had a very hard time whittling it down to create this spectacular shortlist.”

On Friday 11th May, at The UK Roofing Awards Luncheon in London the winners will be announced.
