Lynda Butchard ran her first (and lengthy) race in club colours at the weekend, racing the Trimpell 20 mile event finishing in a sub 4 hour time of 3:59.
Also at the weekend saw Anita, Ruth, Gary, Simon and Neil all complete the annual Grindleford Gallop. This event takes on some challenging hills through the Peak District, however it proved exceptionally difficult this time around due to the arctic conditions along the 21 mile off road trail course.
Neil Hunter and Gary Spriggs were the first of the Strider team to cross the line in 4:27, followed by the rest of the team members Ruth Besford, Anita Hall and Simon Poole in 6:16.
