Share The Skills Of Others At Get Creative Library Event

 

 

If you’re looking to learn a new skill this month Get Creative might be just the thing, featuring at Haydock Library as part of the nationally-renowned Cultural Hubs arts-in-libraries programme.

It’s a national festival that will be celebrated locally in Haydock Library on Saturday 24 March, where participants will get to try their hand at lots of new activities, delivered by a range of volunteers.

Litter Picks At the Ready For Great British Spring Clean Events

Residents are invited to get involved in two organised litter pick events taking place this Saturday (24 March) as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s ‘Great British Spring Clean’ campaign.

In an attempt to make the borough’s parks and open spaces a more pleasant and safer place for families, dog walkers, and wildlife, local community groups, Rainford in Bloom and the Remix Volunteering Group are calling on local residents to roll up their sleeves and join them for a morning of spring cleaning in Linear Park in Rainford and Chain Lane Park, Blackbrook.
