Drama Students Work With RADA

Carmel College were delighted to welcome RADA graduate, Reg Edwards, into college yesterday to work with the A Level Drama and Theatre students. Reg, who is a representative of the prestigious drama school, gave the students a valuable insight into audition process, accessing text and monologues, and a Q and A session on the requirements of drama school entry.

The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) offers ‘world-leading vocational training for actors, stage managers, designers and technical stage craft specialists.’ Head of Drama and Theatre, Erinna Delaney said ‘Raising aspirations is part of what we do here at Carmel and to have RADA work with our young people really demonstrates our commitment to this. It was a delight to work with Reg and I’m sure our students are better prepared as a result of his specialist knowledge!’
