The shortlists for Insider’s prestigious Made in the North West Awards have been released on the back of a record number of entries.
A panel of industry judges have voted on those nominated with the winners set to be announced on the night of Thursday 10 May 2018. For the first time, the event will take place in Manchester at The Lowry Hotel.
The victors will automatically go through to the grand final Made in the UK, where the best of British manufacturing will be celebrated.
Now in their sixth year, Insider’s Made in the North West Awards are a celebration of all that is great about manufacturing. They applaud the use of technology, the ambition to export and the motivation to train and invest in people. They are also a showcase for the region and its diverse manufacturing industries, ranging from life sciences to artisan food brands.
Inovus Medical, based in St Helens, who design and manufacture surgical and medical simulation equipment specifically for the field of laparoscopic surgery and advanced life support, were shortlisted in the following two categories
Manufacturing Innovation Award
Collaboration Award
