Bird walks with the Rangers

Bird watchers are invited to grab their binoculars and join St Helens Council’s Ranger Service on two bird watching walks around Taylor Park at the end of the month (May).

During this joint event on Wednesday 30th May, staff from the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) will be demonstrating how to make your own bird feeders, as the Rangers lead two walks around the park where they will point out the different species of bird present on the lake – along with any that are passing over.

Those interested in attending the event, which runs from 11:00am to 3:00pm, are asked to meet at the boathouse next to the café.

The Rangers request that dogs are left at home for this event.

For further information, contact the Rangers on 01744 677772 or 01744 678073.
