Nine of Carmel College’s Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science (MDV) students received offers to study at prestigious Russell Group Universities.
Seven of them have places to study Medicine and two have Veterinary Science degree offers.
The students have all benefitted from the College’s High Achievers’ Programme which is designed to ensure that the most academically able students are given the encouragement and assistance they need to achieve success.
Delivered by the High Achievers’ team, they provide a structured programme of activities, events and support throughout the year. The Programme offers the best possible preparation for applying to Oxbridge and other prestigious institutions as well as for highly competitive degrees.
Head of the High Achievers’ Programme, Nicola Newton said ‘It’s fantastic that our students have secured these offers. I’m really proud of them; it’s a great achievement!’
