It was a fairly quiet weekend for the Striders but a new record for the club was broken.
Congratulations to David Wilson and Daniel Cheetham who both completed the Edinburgh Marathon at the weekend in very warm weather.
Both St Helens Striders superbly broke 3 hours for the gruelling 26.2 mile challenge with David Wilson breaking the club record also for the marathon distance in a time of 2:46 followed closey by Daniel in 2:57
Not only a great weekend for times and records broken but also for great causes too as money was raised by both members for the MS Society.
