Enterprise Hub announce summer roadshow to inspire local entrepreneurs

A four-week roadshow of business advice and support aims to inspire a new wave of entrepreneurs across the Liverpool City Region.

Enterprise Hub Roadshow will run from 4th to 29th across the region, providing a calendar of events, training and advice for anyone thinking of starting a business.

The roadshow follows the highly successful Enterprise Hub Business Startup Festival earlier this year, helping individuals to develop their ideas and skills to kickstart a business dream.  This time through the ‘roadshow’ theme the emphasis will be on bringing Enterprise Hub events out into the community, giving local residents opportunity to get advice and guidance on their doorstep.

Events will feature informative talks from local entrepreneurs who will share their business start-up stories, as well as offering key guidance about the lessons they have learned along the way and the advice they would offer to others.

Hands-on workshops will help to clarify the processes involved with starting a business, whilst budding entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to speak directly with business advisors on a 1-2-1 basis.

Jackie Williams, Enterprise Hub Project Manager, and Enterprise Director at Liverpool social enterprise The Women’s Organisation, said: “We’re delighted to be taking Enterprise Hub on a Roadshow across the Liverpool City Region this summer.”

“With more and more people thinking about starting a business, it is vital that these individuals are supported with the knowledge and resources to feel confident in making that decision and really succeed.”

“Through a range of informative events, hands-on training and 1-2-1 advice delivered by a team of experts, the Enterprise Hub Roadshow will simplify the process of going self-employed and give local people that all-important confidence boost to pursue a business dream.”

“Enterprise Hub has already helped more than 4,000 people from across the region to discover more about the logistics of going self-employed, evaluate their business ideas and develop entrepreneurial skills, resulting in the launch of more than 600 new businesses since December 2015. – we can’t wait to help you launch yours.”
