St Helens Town AFC are looking to recruit an U18s manager as soon as possible.
The U18s team operate in the prestigious North West Youth Alliance League (First Division) alongside teams including Tranmere Rovers, Heswall, Morecambe and Witton Albion.
Club official John McKiernan said, ‘We would like to thank Graeme Arkle for his superb efforts with the U18s over the last couple of seasons. While we are disappointed to lose him we wish him well in his new post as the manager of Billinge U21s.’
He added, ‘The U18s are great bunch of lads and finished the season on a high with a 3-0 President’s Cup final win over Morecamble. All bodes well for the 2018-19 season.’
Applications are invited from experience managers and coaches who are capable of building on the success of the previous manager.
The team are based at the Arcoframe Stadium, Ruskin Drive Sports Village (a new 4G pitch/stadium which is also the home to the club’s First team, Reserves, U21s and Sunday team).
St Helens Town are looking for:
An experienced manager/coach (Youth football).
Availability to deliver midweek U18s training sessions at Ruskin Drive (Thursday evening).
Availability on Sunday matchdays (late afternoon kick off times) with a requirement to complete all matchday playing and non-playing duties (team sheets, results reporting, cautions, player registration, etc).
An ability to work alondside our U21s and First Team management teams.
