Volunteer Week took place last week and breakdance and parkour group UC Crew celebrated by honouring their volunteer parkour coaches.
Ben Haggett and Jason Owens O’Brien received the ‘Yoda Best Volunteer in the Galaxy’ award for dedicating over 100 volunteer hours to teach children and young people parkour at Sutton Leisure Centre very Thursday. They do this to improve healthy lifestyles and tackle anti-social behaviour in the community.
UC Crew social action and volunteer activities are funded by the #Iwill Fund and he Community Foundation for Merseyside.
