World Cup season is about to begin, and if you’re staying true to stereotypes (or just fancy a tasty feast), that means it’s time to stock up on plenty of pizza and beers.
To celebrate the occasion, the Co-op have launched a special super-saver World Cup meal deal, that gets you two sharing-size pizzas as well as a four-pack of Budweiser for a fiver.
Usually setting you back £10.58, there’s two different flavours of the Co-op’s award-winning fresh pizza included in the offer, although there’s sadly no meat feasts up for grabs, with just margherita and pepperoni to pick from.
The offer is running right now in Co-op stores all around the country and lasts up until the 10th July – a saving of 52 percent.
With more than £5.58 off compared to usual, it might even be worth picking up some Friday night pizzas for the little’uns and saving yourself the beers, whether you plan to watch the football or not.
Calum Kirk, Category Trading Manager at Co-op, said: “Pizza and beer are a match made in heaven and are perfect at half time.
They take around 12 minutes to cook so much quicker that ordering a takeaway, and much cheaper too. And whilst we can’t predict the score, we’re sure our customers will love our pizzas as much as we do.”
