ECHO School Awards 2018: The shortlist is revealed
The awards celebrate Merseyside’s most inspiring schools and education workers – from teachers to support staff – who have made you proud over the last year.
They were inundated with entries of an incredibly high standard and, after some incredibly tough decisions for the judges, they can reveal who the very deserving finalists are.
We are delighted to announce that Carole Foulds from St Ann’s CofE Primary School in Rainhill has been shortlisted in the “School Support Staff” category.
The awards, for the first time in association with headline sponsors Excell Supply, are back for a fifth time in 2018.
Jon Everall, from Excell Supply, said: “Excell Supply is delighted to be supporting the Echo School Awards for the very first time this year.
“Excell Supply is proud to be a provider of teachers and support staff to schools and colleges across Liverpool, Wirral, West Cheshire and North Wales.
“It is through these relationships with over 150 schools that we have witnessed first-hand the tireless efforts schools go to ensure children in the region receive the best possible education.
“The awards provide an invaluable opportunity to celebrate all of the positivity present within the education sector, with the ceremony certain to be a highlight of the academic year for both pupils and staff alike.
“We are excited to share in the celebrations of what is sure to be a highlight of the academic year.
“We wish everyone the best of luck!”
The achievements of all the shortlisted schools and staff will be recognised at a celebratory afternoon at Liverpool John Moores University on Tuesday, June 26, hosted by Leanne Campbell from the Radio City Breakfast Show.
