Haydock-headquartered ATG Access has increased turnover to £17.5m
The expansion of the company, which specialises in road blocker, bollards and vehicle barrier systems, has been driven by its solid UK performance and exporting success across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
ATG now also manufactures its products across five different locations, which has allowed it to develop and ship products across the globe. This expansion is expected to allow ATG to further grow its revenue, with the company targeting a 15 per cent rise next year.
A series of high-profile exporting wins in Singapore, including Orchard Road, Mapletree Business City, the exclusive American Club and Jurong Island, have contributed to ATG’s growth over the past year. Projects have continued close to home in both the UK and Europe too, with the UK Crossrail scheme having been worked on for the past 18 months.
Chief executive Glenn Cooper said: “This financial year has been an extremely challenging but ultimately positive one for the business and is a great reflection of our committed and focused staff and growing success, both overseas and in the UK.
“The growing threat of vehicle-borne terror attacks has meant interest in physical security has increased over the past year or two, and we are proud that our British designs and innovations are being adopted across the world to keep people safe.”
