Walk Information
This is a free mixed ability walking group. It is intended to help those with health conditions to improve their own abilities. We can get new starters at any point. So please be aware that this is not a rambling group and if you are so lucky that you’re a quick walker, please remember that there are others that may not be able to. The group will only go as fast as its slowest walker if this is not to your liking then you may need to consider if this group is for you.
Please be aware that all walking routes have been Risk Assessed as to the effect of weather conditions to the surface of the footpaths used. However, the walking conditions may change on the day and we will endeavour to react to the changing conditions.
Due to the various types of foliage or undergrowth that we may pass through, participants should be aware of any issues that they may personally have, with regard to any allergies and reactions they may encounter. It is recommended that participants wear long sleeved clothing and other relevant protective attire where appropriate.
All dogs should be kept on leads when on Public Highways and Private land, especially on farmland. Anyone with a dog should please be aware that they are responsible for ensuring their animal does not impede other participant’s progress or cause any risk of danger to anyone. Please pick up your dog’s waste as necessary.
Please wear suitable footwear. Well behaved dogs welcome. Weather appropriate clothing. Please bring a drink. Fully Qualified Instructors. Why not bring a friend, family or neighbour
