Saints star Ben Barba made a guest appearance at the Scholarship and Development programme earlier this week.
The star fullback popped down to their Cowley International College Training Facility to lead sessions with the younger players from the Club’s world renowned Academy system.
He is currently undertaking his Level 2 Rugby League Coaching qualification.
Saints Coaching and Education Manager Craig Richards said: “It is great when a player who has achieved so much feels he is ready to start his journey to be a coach.
“Ben clearly has great knowledge of the game and is now putting that into practice to learn the art of coaching.
“He led Scholarship and England Talent Pathway sessions and you could see the players visibly respond and lift by his input.
“Ben is one of several first team players beginning their coaching pathway and as a club we feel that is crucial in their future roles of supporting our great game.”
