Missing – John Platt

Update Monday 23rd July 2018 – Merseyside Police are pleased to inform the public that Jack Platt has been found safe and well. Emergency services were on scene and are looking to take Jack to hospital for further checks.

Merseyside Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of missing man, John Platt.

John, who is 88-years-old, was last seen this morning (21st July) in Stratton drive, St Helens at around 8am.

He is described as white, 5ft 6 inches tall, medium build with balding hair. Mr Platt was last seen wearing a checked shirt, grey jacket, trousers, glasses and a brown flat cap. He is also believed to be carrying a walking stick which has a pink handle.

John also has links to the Rainhill area.

Officers would urge John, or anyone who has seen him to contact @MerPolCC or 101. Alternatively you can contact the Missing People charity via @Missingpeople or on 116 000.
