Volunteers sought to tidy Taylor Park with Rangers

They say many hands make light work, so why not join St Helens Council’s Rangers as they look to make the most of the recent dry weather by tidying up Taylor Park over the next couple of weeks.

This Saturday (11 August) the team has arranged a litter pick around the park – while on the following Wednesday (15 August) now that the lake level has dropped, they will be cleaning out the lake – removing as much rubbish, wood and stone as possible.

Both events will take place between 10:00am-12:00pm and anyone interested in taking part is asked to meet outside the Boathouse café just before 10:00am.

Litter pickers and bin bags will be provided; participants are just asked to bring along their own gloves and wear suitable footwear.
