A St Helens based construction firm has been shortlisted for a national development award for its work on a development of luxury homes in Hambleton, Lancashire.
Constructed by M&Y Maintenance and Construction in partnership with Redwing Living, Bluebrook is a mix of three and four-bedroom homes, and has been shortlisted by property magazine Inside Housing for best residential home development of under 70 homes.
Carefully designed to blend seamlessly with the village surroundings, the Bluebrook development has utilised red brick and stone detailing to emulate the existing properties in the area. The layout has also been influenced by the surrounding environment, making use of the river and open green spaces.
The site show home opened last month, andplots have already been reserved by eager home buyers.
The Inside Housing Development Awards 2018 take place at The Brewery London on 29 November.
Fiona Coventry, Managing Director of Redwing Living, said: “Everyone at Redwing Living is delighted that our beautiful Bluebrook development has been shortlisted for this prestigious award.
“These properties draw inspiration from the idyllic surroundings of Hambleton and provide much needed luxury family homes for the rural community.”
Gill Kelly, Managing Director of M&Y Maintenance and Construction, said: “Bluebrook is a flagship construction project for M&Y Maintenance and Construction, and to be shortlisted for a national award is fantastic.
“I would like to thank all of my team who have worked tirelessly to deliver these beautiful homes and we look forward to the awards ceremony in November.
