Currys PC World launch massive clearance sale online

High street chain Currys PC World is well-known for its extensive range of tech and electrical products.

And now the retailer has slashed the price on thousands of goods as part of a massive 40million online clearance.

Shoppers can pick up discounted TVs, Apple Macbooks, Now TV boxes and tons more electrical appliances and devices. There are even popular smart home items like the Philips Hue set featured in the sale.

Discounts range from 10 to 50% as the retailer sells off items ahead of Black Friday and Christmas.

But anyone looking to make further savings on their next big tech purchase from the high street chain should take a look at some of our shopping tips below before sealing the deal.

Use the price promise

The tech chain guarantee that they will match, or beat, the price customers would pay at, Argos, Asda, and  John Lewis as part of their price promise to customers.

So if you see a better deal elsewhere, you can get it for the same or lower price up to seven days after purchase, even if the competitor is running a voucher code offer.

Voucher codes

Take a browse of the official Currys PC World vouchers page – (but as these are branded codes Currys PC World has a right to cancel these at any time without notice) – so always check the small print.

Best voucher deals right now:

  • Save £50 on selected Apple Watches – use APPWATCH50 at checkout.
  • Save £100 when you buy a SONOS Sub with a SONOS Playbar, Playbase or Beam – use SONOSHTKWBW at checkout. Ends 12 September 2018.
  • 10% off marked price on all large kitchen appliances over £350 – use LKA10A. Ends 18 September.

Free delivery

Currys know how annoying costly delivery charges are and that’s why shoppers an pick up free standard home delivery in the UK. Or if you’re item is small enough and you’re planning to hit the high street you can opt for free click and collect services in store instead.

Try a trade in

Whether you’re looking to upgrade your laptop, mobile, tablet or smart watch, chances are you’ll be able to trade it in at Currys and get at least £50 towards a new one. For some laptops you could get up to £200 off a new one using the service so it can be a pretty good way to save lots of cash.

Trawl the clearance section

Sometimes it’s worth a rummage through the clearance section to come across some incredible bargains, especially if you don’t want or need the very latest model.

End of line stock and ex-display models often have nothing wrong with them and are just flogged at cut price so the retailer can make room for newer stock in their warehouses and stock rooms.
