Portico Nursery Group have made it through to the finals of the National NMT Nursery Awards, which recognise the very best in the early years and nursery sector. They are finalist in three categories.
Sarah Fillingham said “We are really excited and very proud that all our hard work is being recognised and are looking forward to celebrating in London later this year.
“Also, 16 years ago, our first nursery – Portico Lodge opened its doors.
At Easter this year, Nicole Politis and Craig Jackson (owners of the nursery) took the hard decision to close the nursery for refurbishment. Nicole is really excited that it will be re opening on the 8th October. We have an open day planned for 13th October and everyone is welcome.”

This award is open to nursery groups with three or more UK settings and is designed to recognise a forward thinking group which has shown outstanding success in delivering high quality childcare, well trained and motivated staff, inspirational values, focus across the group and financial success.
