Students channel inner Pudsey for fundraising success

It has been a busy and exciting week at St Helens College, with staff and students putting on their Pudsey ears to fundraise and show their support for Children in Need.

Having hosted an amazing cake sale, including activities such as tombola, hook a duck, face painting and complimentary arm messages, the Childcare, Hairdressing and Beauty students really pulled out all of the stops to ensure fundraising success!

Meanwhile, courageous level 3 Performing Arts student, Georgia Strong, donated over 10 inches of her beautiful hair to charity, Little Princess Trust, with Hairdressing student, Hanna Munnerley, making the chop.

Ending on a wonderful high, staff and students made their way to Church Square in St Helens town centre, to cheer and support the BBC Children in Need team, joined by The One Show’s Matt Baker, on their annual Rickshaw Challenge.

Staff and students raised over £500!
