St Helens Swimming Club went to Orford Percy Mason gala on the 1st and 2nd December. The swimmers were fantastic and knocked a massive 214 seconds off their personal bests.

Jack, Adam and Luke all gained their county times!


6 golds- Adam Lindsay-Yule (100m free, 50m free & 50m fly), Luke Brussels (100 fly and 50m fly) and Jack Slater (50m back)

3 silvers- Ayesha Brocklehurst (200m free and 200m breast), Jack (50m free)

4 Bronze- Alicia Ashton (100m breast), Gabby Fee (100m breast), Luke (200m IM), Josh Barker (200m back)

4th medals- Gabby (50m breast), Alicia (50m back), Ayesha (200m IM)

6th medals- Gabby (200m IM), Darcey Briers (50m breast)

St Helens Swimming club has been been running since 1885. The club nearly ceased at the end of last year and a new committee have taken over and are building up the club.

They train Tuesdays (7-9pm) Thursdays (7-9pm), Saturdays (9-11am) and Sundays (3-5pm) at Parr Baths depending on ability and which group you are in.
