It certainly was a festive family affair when Stocks Hall care home in Denton’s Green held their Christmas Fair recently.
Guests were invited to browse around the many stalls such as tombola, bottle stall and guess the weight of the cake. There were cakes and preserves as well as a raffle which allowed guests to take home some high-standard prizes.
In preparation for the event, residents decorated the home with a Christmas tree and ornaments and assisted staff preparing the stalls.
Kelly Hull, Home Manager, said “the event was a huge success and she was delighted to welcome so many people into the home.
“Christmas is a time for community, for family and for sharing the yule tide spirit with everyone. We had Christmas music playing and staff dressed up offering a fun festive afternoon.
“For the residents, it was lovely to have family and friends share this occasion bringing families together and making memories – they are very proud of the home they live in.”
