Tesco have cut the minimum spend for their Click+Collect
Doing the food shop online is already making things a lot easier for people, whether you’re a busy parent or just don’t fancy facing any of the crowds.
But Tesco has now taken a major step to improve its shopping service even further – by cutting the minimum spend for Click+Collect.
Usually £40, the minimum basket spend has been slashed to just £25 temporarily for all grocery orders for collection from Monday 14th January.
Set to last until Sunday 10th February, the change is perfect for those of us who don’t spend £40 a pop every time we want to order our groceries in, but still want to use their popular Click+Collect service.
Selected Tesco stores will be taking part in the offer, and you can easily book your slot on the Tesco website, or check to see whether your local is taking part.
The supermarket’s speedy Click+Collect service is ideal for those that want their shop with them quickly, with a same-day Click+Collect service available from 261 locations nationwide, Monday through Saturday, costing between £2 – £4.
For a slightly cheaper service, you can opt for next day Click+Collect instead, that lets you pick up your goods after 8am the following day, costing up to £2, but sometimes completely free.
All your items are handpicked and delivered to your car with care, with no need to wait in for a delivery, and helpful two hour slots for pickup.
If you don’t want to leave the house, Tesco also offer an array of different delivery options right to your front door.
From same day delivery that gets your groceries picked, packed and delivered pronto (order by 1pm for delivery after 7pm), to next day or timed delivery later in the week for those happy to wait (Tesco offer both 1-hour and flexi-saver delivery slots), there’s plenty of ways to get your food shop done your way, without having to ever step foot out the door.
Often opting for home delivery? It could be cheaper to join Tesco’s Delivery Saver plan instead, which not only gets you priority access to prime slots, but could also end up saving you money.
Plans start from £3.49 a month and come with a one month free trial, with same-day delivery plans starting at £9.99 a month and available from Monday to Saturday.
Any day delivery plans are of course slightly cheaper, starting at £6.99 a month, with same-day deliveries available at a £2 surcharge.
If weekdays are the ones for you, you can opt for the midweek delivery plan, which starts at a bargain £3.49 a month (Tues-Thurs) with same-day deliveries once again available at a £2 surcharge.
You can also collect Clubcard points everytime you shop at Tesco, which can be redeemed at the likes of Pizza Express, Legoland and British Airways.
