Applications are now open for the 2019 Open Culture Summer Arts Market in Liverpool
The Summer and Winter Arts Markets are the North West’s biggest (and best) arts and crafts fairs. They provide an unparalleled opportunity for independent artists and makers from across the region to showcase and sell their work directly to the public, and for the public to directly support the local creative economy. And it’s all set in the beautiful Liverpool Cathedral!
They have space for some 200 artists and are looking for applications across all artforms; ceramics, photography, painting, jewellery, sculpture, papercraft, glass work, screenprinting and more are all welcome. However, your work must be unique, original and handmade – no mass-produced items, or items made by someone else, will be accepted.
The deadline for applications is midnight on 10th Mar 2019.
Summer Arts Market
1 Jun 2019, 10am – 6pm
For more details including selection criteria and available stall types, download the stallholder information here.
You can then submit your application using the short online form.
If you wish to have a stall as an organisation or collective please be in touch before applying, unless you have taken part previously.
Vintage, Clothing and Food
The market will also feature vintage and food fairs, even bigger and better than before. Once again, they’re also looking to include independent clothing designers working in the region who would like to showcase their work at the market so if that’s you, get in touch,
They’re also looking for artisan food producers so whether you’re a chocolatier, tea blender, cake baker or jam maker they want to hear from you.
Please note that all food sold at the event must be sold packaged and to ‘take away’. They are unable to offer power for stallholders who wish to sell hot food items.
