Andy Reid has been named as the new Honorary Colonel for the Merseyside Army Cadet Force.
Andy, from Rainford, lost his right leg below the knee, his left leg above the knee and his right arm after stepping on a improvised explosive device (IED) whilst serving in Afghanistan.
Colonel Andy Reid said “I’m Truly honoured to be appointed this role and very proud to be able to wear my military uniform once again. Hopefully in this role as Honorary Colonel, I can inspire the cadets achieve their full potential.”
Merseyside ACF Commandment, Colonel Stephen Boardman MBE DL said “As Commandant, it gives me enormous pleasure to introduce Merseyside Army Cadet Force’s new Honorary Colonel, Andy Reid.
