The consumer goods company produces everything from tea to ice cream and shampoo to skincare including household brands such as PG Tips, Ben & Jerry’s and Marmite.
The apprenticeships are on offer in a number of areas, including business and technology, research and development and supply chain and engineering.
These positions could involve anything from working as an engineer in the company’s factories, to training as a scientist in their research sites, or producing brand artwork and creating websites.
Unilever is offering the opportunity for 36 new apprentices to join the consumer goods company in their Port Sunlight office, factories and research and design centre.
The programme offers apprentices the opportunity to earn while they learn, with salaries for these apprenticeship programmes starting from £12,526.
Unilever currently employs more 250 apprentices across the company’s UK sites and they were named Wirral Apprentice Employer of the year.
The company’s apprenticeship programmes combine on-the-job experience and formal training to give candidates the confidence and skills to kick-start their career.
Applicants can also choose to apply for a degree apprenticeship, providing the opportunity to get a degree alongside real-life work experience in a competitively salaried role.
